It was work, work, work for most of the day, but Rhett came by at 4:30 to pick us up for the planned climing of the montecito to the Templo de San Cristobal for a view of the lunar eclipse. We were joined by Erin and Jennifer and later by Andrés, Alica, Maria Luisa, and Sarah. We watched and waited but the clouds in the east just kept getting denser. After an hour and a half we gave up, and that's why you don't see a great picture of the eclipse above here. So we will wait until August 27, which should be a good time to view it in Vancouver. Also a great time for a LASOM reuinion, I'm thinking.
